So my little sis is upset because she is away at school and is missing out on watching me get fat, so I will now be updating everyone on my big fat belly.
I have gained about two pounds in the last month but have gained a huge belly along with it. I guess I must be losing weight other places, because there is no way the bulge I have only weighs two pounds.
What I know about the baby this week...............................................
is that it measures about 4-1/2 inches from crown to rump, and it weighs about 1-3/4 oz. It is a fully formed little person, but unable to survive on its own until all of it's organs mature. The baby's internal ear is forming and it will start to hear sounds through the amniotic fluid, but won't be able to interpret the noises until its brain's auditory centers have developed.
